NAF Academy of Engineering students Leandra Belizaire and Shon Barthell were awarded NAF Fund II Foundation Diversity & Equity in STEM Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 to support their STEM career college education.
Fund II Academy of IT students attended the annual conference of eMerge Americas at the Miami Beach Convention Center held on April 20-21, 2022. Keynote speakers included Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian, Pitbull and many other top leaders in the IT world. STEM Advisory Board Chair Carlos Vazquez sponsored the students.
Mrs. Doristine Williams was presented with the NAF Janet Linton National Award at the NAF NEXT conference, July 13th in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Williams is the Lead Teacher of the Distinguished NAF Academy of Finance at Southwest Miami Senior High.
