Culinary Students Compete at The Fair
Robert Morgan Educational Center culinary students won 1st place in Sedano's Grand Championship at Miami-Dade Youth Fair on March 24-25, 2017.

Phyllis Ruth Miller ( Rocket Robotics ) and W.R. Thomas ( Tiger Bots) won 1st place overall division winners . Palmetto Middle ( Palmetto Orange) won robot game and Palmetto Middle ( Palmetto Black) won 2nd place overall. Also, Hialeah Middle won 3rd place.
VEX Robotics Contest
The VEX Robotic Contest was held at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair on April 2, 2017. The Top Alliance was made up of three high school teams all from Miami Lakes Educational Center. The three-team Alliance placing 2nd included Riviera Middle School (Captain) and two teams from Terra High School.
