Thanks to our students and teachers who went all out to show the community that applied learning is alive and well in our CTE Culinary classrooms. Our programs hit a “home run” at the Marlins Park with 30 teams from 17 schools representing M-DCPS in the 2019 TASTE OF EDUCATION contest.
Although they were all winners, those categories/schools recognized at last night’s event were:
Best Meat Category: Robert Morgan Educational Center
Best Dessert: Robert Morgan Educational Center
Best Sales Pitch: Redland Middle School
Best Visual Display: Miami Jackson (& Best Veggie Dish)
Public Choice: Robert Morgan Educational Center
