The TERRA HOSA BIOMED competitors ROCKED the HOSA International Leadership Conference June 26-29, 2024 in Houston, Texas!!! HOSA is a global student-led organization providing a unique program of leadership development exclusively for middle school, high school, technical college and collegiate students enrolled in Health Science and Biomedical Science.
In the new health profession of Clinical Lab Science, TERRA student, Cynthia Canabal placed SECOND bringing home a silver medal! The HOSA debate team of Valerie Williams, Maria Fernandez and Alec Molina as well as the Parliamentary Procedure team of Jessica Perez, Camila Luna, Laura Blanco, Nicholas Navarro, Jesse Soto and Yash Singh BOTH placed THIRD in Houston, Texas at the HOSA ILC conference bringing home the bronze medals!
Rodrigo Medinilla in the Health Science Category of Medical Spelling placed 10th in a fiercely competitive field winning a certificate of placement! Sophie Vigil in the Health Profession category of Dental Science made it past round 2 and placed in the top 20.
These students worked very hard all year and that effort and dedication was rewarded in Houston at the culmination of HOSA competitive year of 2023-2024!
I am proud of each and every single one of them and all they accomplished this year. Very proud of them! THANK YOU!
