REQUIRED HOURS: 150 HOURS

SUGGESTED SCHEDULE: 30 HOURS PART TIME WEEKLY

STUDENT POPULATION

High School students from the academies of Hospitality and Tourism, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, and Health Sciences and additional career and technical education programs who are between the ages of 15-18 and enrolled in Miami-Dade County Public School

ELIGIBILITY

Students must be eligible to work, open a savings account with the South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union, and complete the online pre- internship lessons. Emphasis will be given to at-risk students who meet one of the following criteria: Free/Reduced Lunch or English Language Learners (ELL) or Truant (15 or more unexcused absences).

Students must open an account with the South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union (SFEFCU)
