The 2019 Summer Youth Internship Program (SYIP for short) is a program where students can learn about the working world. It is a 5 week program from July 1st to August 2nd, 2019. It focus on 10th -12th grade students between ages 15-18 and reside in Miami-Dade County, and are currently enrolled in Miami-Dade County Public schools. It requires 150 hours during the 5 week program with 30 hours weekly. There are many organizations that sponsor this wonderful program. For example: Miami-Dade County, The Children’s Trust, Career Source of South Florida, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, JPMorgan Chase, and the Foundation for New Education Initiatives for students approved to work in the SYIP.
