The Miami Dade Entrepreneurship Camp at John F. Kennedy Middle School worked to provide students the opportunity to develop their business plans and pitches with support from teachers and business experts who volunteered their time. In total 96 middle and high school students from John F. Kennedy Middle School, Miami Jackson Senior High School, and Homestead High School attended the three-week camp experience. During the two sessions from June 14th through July 2nd and July 5th through July 23rd, students prepared for a business pitch competition. Cash prizes were awarded to top student entrepreneurs and judges from the business community provided students feedback and evaluation. The top three winners from the camp will represent Miami-Dade at the regional and national NFTE finals.
