Phyllis Ruth Miller ( Rocket Robotics ) and W.R. Thomas ( Tiger Bots) won 1st place overall division winners . Palmetto Middle ( Palmetto Orange) won robot game and Palmetto Middle ( Palmetto Black) won 2nd place overall. Also, Hialeah Middle won 3rd place.
VEX Robotics Contest
The VEX Robotic Contest was held at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair on April 2, 2017. The Top Alliance was made up of three high school teams all from Miami Lakes Educational Center. The three-team Alliance placing 2nd included Riviera Middle School (Captain) and two teams from Terra High School.
BrandsMart U.S.A’s Super Teacher: Mr. Tim Martin
This weeks BrandsMart U.S.A's Super Teacher goes to Mr. Tim Martin. He oversees the creative arts program at Robert Morgan Educational Center and Technical College. He prepares his students for the multimedia industry by including 3D animation, web development and creative arts in his curriculum.
