Recently, on January 13,2017, students from the Academy of Engineering at Hialeah Gardens Senior High School in Miami, FL were given the opportunity to build a water tower model that would follow certain established parameters of style and function. Guidelines and formulas were given to determined students on the team, which allowed them to construct a stable water tower with the correct amount of water and efficient water flow. Thanks to Mr. Garrido and Carollo the students at Hialeah Gardens High School were granted the opportunity to create their own water tower.
