CTE Pre-Apprenticeship students and educators will be celebrating Pre-Apprenticeship Week beginning Monday, Nov. 12, 2018.
Students participating in the Pre-Apprenticeship program are provided with a network of resources that provide a unique pathway to employment.
The Miami-Dade Youth Pre-Apprenticeship Program Career and Technical Training is a 23-month program in its 2nd year, that will target 120 eligible Miami-Dade County Public Schools 11th and 12th grade students in the following schools: Miami Carol City Senior High, Coral Gables Senior High, Miami Edison Senior High, and Homestead Senior High.
The first year 11th graders will complete 150 classroom training hours and the second year, 12th graders will complete an additional one hundred fifty class room training hours in one of the Pre-Apprenticeship programs.
