Students completing this Program of Study have three opportunities to earn college credit before leaving high school. These college credit earning opportunities include: Advanced Placement courses, Dual Enrollment, and Local and Statewide Articulation Agreements. If you meet the criteria you may be able to earn college credit, gain industry-accepted certification, save time, money, and participate in more challenging coursework. Career Pathways Articulation Agreements—Local Miami-Dade College Statewide Articulation Agreements The State Board of Education has approved a list of Statewide Career and Technical Education Articulation Agreements. This supports the Department’s Next Generation Areas of Focus effort Number 3—“to expand opportunities for postsecondary degrees and certificates.” These agreements are intended to be a minimum guarantee of articulated credit and do not preclude institutions from granting additional credit based on local agreements.
